Teeth Restorations with Dental Implants in Kirkland

They are artificial tooth roots made from biocompatible titanium that anchor securely within the jawbone. They support a replacement tooth, bridge, or denture. Unlike removable options, they feel and function like natural teeth. Dental implants in Kirkland also provide stability and reduce long-term oral health risks.

They are made of:

  • A titanium screw (the Post)
  • A connector piece (Abutment)
  • The visible part (Crown)

How Dental Implant Treatment Works

Our implant dentist, Dr. Oveys Hedayati, inserts them through different steps. Let’s see the steps together:

  1. We check your oral health and create a custom plan. Bone grafting may be needed if the jawbone is weak.
  2. We numb the area and place the post in the jawbone.
  3. The bone fuses with the titanium post over a few months for a strong base.
  4. We attach a connector and secure a custom crown for a natural look.

Most of our patients feel relaxed and happy after getting their new tooth implants. Make an appointment today and take the first step toward a stronger, healthier smile!

Tengo rellenos de metal en las muelas

    • Dr. Hedayati says:

Thank you for your comment. Having metal (amalgam) fillings in your molars does not automatically prevent you from getting dental implants, as implants are separate replacements for missing teeth and are anchored in the jawbone with titanium, not affected by old fillings. However, it is important to tell your dentist about all existing fillings because they may want to assess the overall health of your teeth and mouth before planning implant treatment, and sometimes patients choose to replace old metal fillings with tooth-colored ones for aesthetic or other personal reasons. If you have specific concerns about metal in your mouth or how your current dental work might relate to implants, the best next step is to discuss this with your dentist so they can tailor the treatment plan to your needs.
